About
In 1864 four gold miners struck it rich in nearby Helena, Montana naming the area "Last Chance Gulch" as it was their last chance effort in finding gold. Eventually Last Chance Gulch became the second biggest placer gold producing mine in Montana, with over $19 million in gold found over four years. Helena, the state capital is located 27 miles to the east over MacDonald Pass. The Last Chance Motel is named after the famous local gold rush as well as it's your Last Chance to find a place to stay after you've left Helena.
Last Chance Motel has been offering a comfortable place to stay since the 1960's but it has recently come under new ownership. Brothers Matt and Gregg DesLauriers and their wives Brandee and Robyn have taken ownership and are in the process of revitalizing the unique property. The motel rooms and cottage homes are getting some modern updates but you can still expect to relive the wild 60's in our vibing vintage bathrooms.
